2. Account and Wallet Usage

2.1. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and wallet information. Unauthorized access resulting from negligence or sharing of credentials is your responsibility.

2.2. Wallet Functionality

EthicalVault provides custodial and/or non-custodial wallet functionality based on service offerings. You are solely responsible for any digital assets held in your account wallet.


3. Orders and Execution

3.1. Order Types

The platform may support various order types such as:

  • Market Orders (executed at the best available price)

  • Limit Orders (executed only at a specified price or better)

  • Stop Orders (executed when a specific price is reached)

Availability of order types may vary depending on the trading pair.

3.2. Order Finality

All confirmed orders are final and cannot be reversed once executed. Please review your order details carefully before submission.

3.3. Order Matching

Orders are matched based on price-time priority. We do not guarantee the availability of counterparties or market depth. Price slippage may occur during high volatility.


4. Fees and Charges

4.1. Trading Fees

EthicalVault may charge fees on trades, including but not limited to:

  • Maker and taker fees

  • Deposit or withdrawal fees

Trading fees and losses incurred from user decisions are non-refundable. Refunds are not issued for failed transactions due to user error or insufficient balances.

Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in activities that manipulate or disrupt the market, including but not limited to:

  • Pump-and-dump schemes

  • Spoofing or layering

  • Insider trading

Violation of these rules may result in permanent account suspension and reporting to regulatory authorities.

6. Downtime, Maintenance, and Technical Issues

In the event of unexpected technical issues or service interruptions, trading may be paused without notice. EthicalVault will not be liable for any trading losses during such times.


7. Regulatory Compliance

All trades are subject to AML checks and monitoring. We may suspend, reverse, or block transactions suspected of violating AML policies or involving prohibited parties.

7.2. Sanctions and Restricted Jurisdictions

Trading may be restricted in certain countries or regions. Users are responsible for ensuring that their trading activity complies with local laws and regulations.
